Article 22 When a claim for indemnity or payment of the insurance benefits is lodged with the insurer after the occurrence of an insured event, the applicant, the insured or the beneficiary shall, to the best of their knowledge and ability, provide the insurer with evidence and information which is relevant to ascertain the nature of, the cause for and the extent of the loss due to the occurrence of the insured event.

第二十二条保险事故发生后，依照保险合同请求保险人赔偿或者给付保险金时，投保人、被保险人或者受益人应当向保险人提供其所能提供的与确认保险事故的性质、原因、损失程度等有关的证明和资料。

Where there is a loss recoverable under the policy, the insurer, or each insurer if there be more than one, is liable for such proportion of the measure of indemnity as the amount of his subscription bears to the value fixed by the policy in the case of a valued policy, or to the insurable value in the case of an unvalued policy.

The Insurer may make compensation in advance according to the provisions of the contract if the Insured claims against him, in such case, however, the Insured shall subrogate to the Insurer the right of recovery against the third party and assist the latter in pursuing such recovery.

Article 2The term "reinsurance contract" refers to an insurance contract under which the insurer cedes a certain portion of a premium to another insurer and the reinsurance acceptor makes compensation to the cedant for the compensation cost and other relevant expenses arising from the original insurance contract.

第二条再保险合同，是指一个保险人分出一定的保费给另一个保险人，再保险接受人对再保险分出人由原保险合同所引起的赔付成本及其他相关费用进行补偿的保险合同。
