Based on the results of the experiment, the results indicate as follows (1) the opportunity cost for key letter method learning of a fifth-grade student of an elementary school is 77 minutes of time;(2) the learning of the relations between letters and their chief representatives have a great transference effect on the learning of the relations between letters and their deputy representatives, and this result told us that the opportunity cost for key letter method learning could be reduced by learning and mastering first the relations between letters and their chief representatives.
