So Abram rose, and clave the wood, and went, 亚伯兰上涨，也劈好木头，又走了，

And took the fire with him, and a knife. 并拿着火与他和一把刀。

And as they sojourned both of them together, 当他们寄居他们两个在一起，

Isaac the first-born spake and said, My Father, 艾萨克的第一个出生的说话，说，我的父亲，

Behold the preparations, fire and iron, 看哪准备，消防和铁，

But where the lamb for this burnt-offering? 但这里的羊羔在这燔祭？

Then Abram bound the youth with belts and straps, 亚伯兰就必然青年与腰带和背带，

And builded parapets and trenches there, 并建造护栏和壕沟那里，

And stretched forth the knife to slay his son. 并伸出拿刀，要杀他的儿子。

When lo! an Angel called him out of heaven, 当罗！天使叫他从天上

Saying, Lay not thy hand upon the lad, 对这个小伙子说： 6:19不要你的手，

Neither do anything to him, thy son. 无论做任何事情，他说，你的儿子。

Behold! Caught in a thicket by its horns, 看哪！它的牛角夹在灌木丛中，

A Ram. Offer the Ram of Pride instead. 一只公羊。提供傲慢的公羊代替。

   

But the old man would not so, but slew his son, 但老人不愿意这样，但是杀了他的儿子，

And half the seed of Europe, one by one. 和欧洲的一半种子，一个接一个。
