Methods Analgesic effects of Shengning suppository were observed with pain model mice by acetic acid or hot plate test. Antiinflammatory effects were studied with ear acute edema model induced by dimethylbenzene in mice and rat foot edema model induced by carrageen, and antipruritic action was observed with allergic pruritic model caused by histamine in guinea pigs.
