偈

I said in a gatha

我说偈子道

Then the World-Honoured One, in order to console all those gathered there, spoke in a gatha

释尊，为了安慰所有在那里的人，以偈子说道

Do not be so sorrowful. He said in a gatha

不要这样忧郁他以偈子说到

I will write the Gatha you requested.

我将写您所提请的普贤大圆满偈。

He stood up again bowed before the Buddha and said in a gatha: verses

他再次站起来，向佛鞠躬，说偈子道

Then, Manjushri spoke this gatha before the Buddha:- It is not that all fear the staff.

接着，文殊在佛前说这个偈子：这不是担心那个棍子

Then the World-Honoured One spoke in a gatha for all the congregation

接着释尊对所有的众生说了一首偈子：所有的人！

As requested by disciple Jing Xing below, I had composed a new gatha.

应弟子敬行以下之提请，我已作一新偈颂。

Work diligently and never slack off day and night, this is the Bhaddekaratta Gatha that everybody should often recite.

像这样努力精进，日夜都不懈怠，这就是大家应当常说的跋地罗帝偈。

For the sake of Cunda he said in a gatha:In all the world whatever is born must die.- Life looks long but by nature an end there must be.

为了纯陀，他说偈子道：在所有的世界，有生必有死-生命看起来很长，但是由于其特性这也必有终点。

Chenopodium album,Solanum nigrum, and Amaranthus retroflexus were very susceptible to the herbicides.
