When I survey the wondrous cross 当我调查奇妙的十字

On which the Prince of Glory died; 在这荣耀的王子死了;

My richest gain I count but loss, 我最富有的收益我算不过损失，

And pour contempt on all my pride. 倒鄙视我所有的骄傲。

   

Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast, 禁止它，主啊，我要夸，

Save in the death of Christ, my God; 保存在基督里，我的上帝的死亡;

All the vain things that charm me most, 一切徒劳的事情，我的魅力最大，

I sacrifice them to his blood. 我牺牲了他们自己的血。

   

See, from his head, his hands, his feet, 你看，从他的头部，双手，双脚，

Sorrow and love flow mingled down. 悲伤和爱情混到流下来。

Did e'er such love and sorrow meet, 难道额尔这样的爱和悲伤相遇，

Or thorns compose so rich a crown. 或刺构成如此丰富的皇冠。

   

Were the whole realm of nature mine, 是自然矿的整个领域，

That were an offering far too small; 这是一个提供实在太小;

Love so amazing, so divine, 爱如此神奇，如此神圣，
