My first recollection is a day in December 我的第一个记忆是一天十二月

black iron steam engine covered in ice 冰雪覆盖的黑色铁蒸汽机

like some Precambrian monster 像一些前寒武纪怪物

moaning and snorting 呻吟和吸食

Nothing was ever going to beat that beast 没有什么是永远要打败的野兽

in a fair fight 在一个公平的战斗

   

I've sat and watched the woodpiles 我坐在那里，看着woodpiles
