In terms of study methods, this thesis analyzed the everydayness and human geography to explore peoples' usage of urban spaces in different historic stages, and to explore how Shi-Men-Ting became the living arena of different social groups under the mainstream dominance.

Liu Xin's works contain flavor of metropolitan fashion and however not reduction of reality but decrease of material trace. He goes beyond a popular expression of life sentiment. The beauty gradually varies towards as a metropolitan mirage that is fictitiousness, plane and patterning. The man is abstracted as merely an outer form floating like a dissociating shadow.

In metropolitanization development, there are two primary problems that the rural areas and farmers are facing. One is that the full-aspect collapse of traditional culture, good vogues and customs, and value system causes people to loose necessary sense and clear realistic consciousness. The other is that general farmers and countryside area are easier to absorb the declined and decayed things of metropolis culture, because individual modern cultural enginery can not develop timely and fully, and the reasons of the limited actual occupancy of social and cultural resource etc.

在都市化进程中，广大的农业地区与农民在文化生活上面临的主要问题有二：一是由于传统文化、良风美俗与价值系统的全面崩溃，使人们在实际生活上完全丧失了必要的判断力与清醒的现实意识；二是由于个体的现代文化机能未能及时、充分发育，以及由于实际占有社会与文化资源的有限等原因，广大农民与农村地区更容易吸收都市文化中没落、腐朽的东西。

ChiLi takes a full positive view of secular life which is full of material desire and people's positive persuit of secular happy life. Her works give us a show of the upstarts who live as if drunk or dreaming which is satisfied those plebeians'desire of knowing the gorgeous life and the psychology of seeking novelty and strving for ornate diction.

池莉充分肯定了我们这个充满物欲的时代的世俗生活，以及人物对于世俗幸福生活的积极追求，为我们展示了当今都市新贵们醉生梦死的生活，满足了小市民对富丽堂皇生活的画饼充饥的渴望及猎奇猎艳的心理。

The design aims to renovate the old town with nostalgia according to the Government's urban renewal program. The project site, which is the source region of Bao'an, is defined to be a new landmark of a boom town with romanticism. In Zone A, the natural water resource is introduced from inside the community, which is divided into the swimming pool are and the aquatic island with the central axis as the boundary, and thus to create 7 functional landscape nodes. The Neo-Art Deco style compromises the extravagance and complication of classic art as well as the simpleness and freedom of the metropolitan spirit, where exotic cultures can be accommodated with exquisite refinement of linear, annular and streamline patterns.

宝安发源地在都市重建计划下，一面是城市复兴，一面是怀旧情怀，项目定位为&打造宝安发源地的新兴城市新地标，定义都市浪漫生活情调&， A区源引自然的内部景观水系、以中轴为分界线，主要分为泳池景观区和水岛两个版块，形成七个功能性景观节点(一条主轴、两个景观中心，七个功能性景观节点)，Neo-Art Deco风格的构想是将古典艺术的奢华繁复与都市精神的自由简单进行折衷，让异族文明相容，横生出线性、环形和流线型的细腻。
