The Group's key brands were introduced to China back in the late 1980s, among which Chivas Regal, Martell and Royal Salute have been leading China's imported spirits market. The acquisition of Allied Domecq in 2005 enriched Pernod Ricard's brand portfolio with the addition of Ballantine's, Mumm, Perrier-Jout, Beefeater, Kahlúa, Malibu, etc., which also further consolidated the Group's leadership in China.
