All the parents of treated children (100%) were satisfied with the Auri method, and 35 (80%) reported good to fair correction of the prominent pinnae. At evaluation 10 months after completing the treatment, 86% of ears maintained their corrected shape. There were no severe complications or pain during treatment, but there were slight complications in 17 pinnae (30%), mostly consisting of skin irritation.
