本文应用数字图像处理方法对莱州地区的ETM遥感影像数据进行处理，取得了较好的效果，提取出了矿化蚀变信息并增强了线环影像特征，已探明的金矿床均处于线环构造交汇、交切以及环形构造边缘部位；借助于遥感地学信息分析方法，从遥感影像中提取成矿有利的线环构造，并利用中国地大开发的矿产资源评价分析系统MORPAS软件对线性构造定量化，获取了大量与金矿化有关的定量信息。
