砒霜具有明显的抗肝癌细胞作用，并有一定的抗侵袭与转移作用，其机制可能与其能抑制肝癌细胞增殖、迁移、阻止肝癌细胞与细胞外基质和内皮细胞粘附、上调肿瘤转移抑制基因nm23表达、下调肿瘤侵袭分子CD44、MMP-2表达以及通过抑制内皮细胞增殖、下调VEGF表达、损伤间充质细胞、阻止新生血管芽生等途径从而抑制肿瘤新生血管形成有关。
