Based on the research summed up by predecessors and guided in the Marxist theories , this dissertation studied the Taisho Democracy from three aspects ,economic basis ,superstructure constitute, ideological and to analyze what caused the failure of Taisho Democracy. Otherwise, some Authoritarianisms can draw reasons from the failure of Taisho Democracy.

本文在已有研究成果基础上，以马克思主义理论为指导，对日本这阶段的民主通过经济基础、意识形态、上层建筑三方面进行分析，探讨日本大正期间民主政治失败的内外原因，并为后起国家的民主化进程提供借鉴作用。
