This is the second year report of a three-years project and objectives of this year include: 1 to organize a symposium on impact of implementing ICD-10 on cause-of-death statistics in Taiwan; 2 to submit series of papers according to the conclusions from the symposium; 3 to complete a preliminary report of multiple-cause-of-death analysis; 4 to construct different formats of MCOD datasets and procedures of releasing; 5 to develop the standard tabulation lists for morbidity statistics for hospitals of different levels in Taiwan with empirical data support; 6 to setup the electronic user-friendly equivalent mapping system for Taiwanese users; 7 to introduce recent development of using ICD-10-CM in the US and in Australia; 8 to invite experts from the US and Australia to hold a workshop on experience of using ICD-10 in hospitals and claims data for health insurance.

本年度是三年计画的第二年，拟达成的工作项目包括：1举办ICD改版对台湾死因别死亡率影响之学术研讨会；2完成台湾使用ICD-10对死因别死亡率分析之影响系列论文；3完成台湾多重死因分析结果初稿；4完成台湾多重死因统计资料释出之流程与说明手册；5完成不同层级别医院疾病别服务量统计列表清单分析结果；6建置ICD-10-CM与ICD-9-CM五位码对照表电子书；7完成澳洲与美国医院使用ICD-10-CM之现况报告；8举办研讨会邀请澳洲与美国学者来台介绍ICD-10-CM。

Due to the impacts of bad fiduciary loan and financial reformation happened in Taiwan for the past few years, The financial development in recent years is not benefiting the economic in Taiwan; In china, as a result of increasing in financial needs, financial market opening and etc, the financial development is consider as one of the main factors for economical growth; As the international trading getting more complex, the financial demand will be increased as well, Therefore, the export trading and financial changes for both countries are positively affecting each other, but the effects for Taiwan are only short term and for China, the effects will be long term.

由实证结果可知现阶段台湾与中国大陆出口扩张政策是带动经济成长的良药，台湾因为前几年双卡风暴及金融改革制度的影响，近年金融发展无法有利於台湾经济；大陆因国内金融需求庞大、金融市场开放等原因，金融发展也是经济成长的要素之一；当一国的国际贸易进行越来越繁复，对金融需求也就越来越大，所以，两岸出口贸易和金融深化的关系皆是正向影响，但台湾则是短期显著影响、大陆是长期显著影响。

This study aims to assess the most feasible feedstock to produce fuel ethanol and estimate the costs of (1) importing fuel ethanol directly;(2) importing feedstock to produce fuel ethanol;(3) planting energy crops to produce fuel ethanol in Taiwan. And then analyses the possible influence of gasohol strategies (such as E3, E5, and E10) by constructing a system dynamics model of Taiwan's motor gasoline demand.

本研究针对燃料酒精，透过相关文献搜集，评估台湾地区发展燃料酒精最适原料，概估国外进口燃料酒精、国外进口原料产制燃料酒精及台湾自产燃料酒精三方案之成本，并建构台湾地区车用汽油需求系统动态模型，模拟未来台湾地区车用汽油需求量，分析E3、E5及E10酒精汽油政策目标可能产生之影响。

Abundance, biomass and population structure of three fiddler crabs（Uca lactea, U. arcuata and U. formosensis） vary in San-Sun where presents salt marsh. Firstly, most articles about Hong Kong by Taiwanese authors during 1950s and 1960s featured transients and refugees, revealing the tumultuous Hong Kong society in early 1950s. Secondly, in their writings between 1970s and 1980s, most Taiwanese writers either vented their thinking of the motherland or witness the moment of political transform and opening-up or directly throw themselves in the rising wave in Hong Kong of the pursuit of their Hong Kong and emotion identities, which offers insight into the social phenomena and the concerns over the future of the city. Thirdly, before and after Hong Kong's return to China in 1997, Taiwanese authors had in-depth observation and comprehension of the atmosphere and ambience in Hong Kong at the time. Lastly, in the new era after the return of Hong Kong, Taiwanese authors started to excavate, using their unique esthetic views and values, the pleb culture that can best represent the spirit of Hong Kong and in the meantime constructed the distinctive landscape of sense of taste and memory of Hong Kong beyond its skyscrapers.

首先，一九五○至六○年代的台湾作家的香港书写，以过客和难民为主角，呈现出五○年代初期政治动荡下的香港社会景况；其次，一九七○至八○年代的台湾作家在作品里抒发家国思念之情、见证两岸政治转型开放时刻，或是直接投入香港本土兴起对於本土身分与认同情感追寻的热潮，对於香港社会百态及前途问题皆有深刻的见解；再者，於香港九七回归前后，台湾作家对当时香港氛围有深刻的观察和体会；最后，在九七后的新世纪香港，台湾作家以独特的审美观与价值观，挖掘最能代表香港精神的庶民文化，并在标帜香港特色的摩天大厦群之外建构出独特的香港味觉景观与记忆。
