Joseph was tired 约瑟夫累了

They'd been traveling all day 他们四处旅行，整天

And it was almost midnight 而正是夜阑人静

Before he found a place to stay 之前，他找到了一个栖身之所

   

He put the burrow in the stall 他把洞穴在地摊

There was someone at the door 有一个人在门口

And Joseph turned to see 和约瑟夫扭头看

Some plain and simple shepherd men 一些简单明了的牧羊人男人

Down on bended knee 向下屈膝

   

They talked about an angel 他们谈论的天使

Who told them where to come 谁告诉他们哪里来的

In the middle of the night to see 在半夜看

God's only son 上帝的独生子

   

Then later there came wisemen 再后来出现了智者

Bearing gifts and offerings 带着礼物和产品

And Joseph led them all to see 和约瑟夫带领他们有目共睹

And praise the new born king 赞美新王者诞生

   

And they said, 他们说，

Tears of joy 喜悦的泪水

Were gently flowing 轻轻流淌

Out of Joseph's eyes 出了约瑟夫的眼睛

While up above the angels sang 虽然上面那天使唱

"Glory to God!" “荣耀归于上帝！ ”
