'Twas the night 何等的夜晚

Before Christmas 圣诞节前

When all through the house 当所有通过房子

The stump of his pipe 他管残端

In his teeth 在他的牙齿

And the smoke it 而且它的烟

Encircled his head 包围他的头

Like a wreath 像敬献了花圈

   

He had a broad face 他有一个胖脸

And a round little belly 和一个圆形的小肚腩

That shook when he laughed 震撼的时候，他笑了

Like a bowl full of jelly 就像一个盛着凉粉

   

He was chubby and plump 他胖乎乎的丰满

A right jolly old elf 一个正确快乐的老顽童
