烛光,也有按译音叫"坎德拉"的,从它这个拼法来看,就和英文中的"蜡烛"(Candle)很近似嘛. 没错,这个烛光的概念最早就是英国人发明的,它是发光强度(Luminous intensity)的单位,那时英国人以一磅的白蜡制造出一尺长的蜡烛所燃放出来的光来定义烛光单位.
