西偏南

A city of southern West Virginia in the Allegheny Mountains south-southeast of Charleston. It is a trade and shipping center in a coal-mining region.

The function always enhances southerlies and brings heavy rainfall and more latent heating over tropical land to southeast of the Tibet , prevail northerlies , less rainfall and more sensible heating over tropical land to southwest of the Tibet .

结果表明，青藏高原的&热力滑轮&作用引起：高原东南面热带陆地上空的偏南气流加强，降水增加，凝结潜热加强；高原西南面热带陆地上空出现偏北气流，降水减弱，陆面的感热加热加强。

The Somali jet is rapidly enhanced two pentads prior to the onset of SCSSM, thus accelerating the eastward extension of the westerly over the Bay of Bengal and leading to the eastward retreat of the western Pacific subtropical high . At the same time, the rapid enhancement of SCS CEF can also result in the northward march of WPSH and the onset of SCSSM. The earlier establishment and stronger southerlies correspond to the earlier onset time of SCSSM, and vice versa. Both composite and correlation analyses show that the 150hPa Asia-Australia CEF in boreal spring has important influences on EASM.

In the boreal summer, there are two STH ridge lines in mid-Pacific separated by the mid-Pacific trough, of which the north part (call as mid-Pacific STH ridge line) is joined with the west Pacific STH, and the south is belonged to the North America STH. The structure of them is winter pattern that the ridge axis slopes southward against height. Litter differences lie in vertical circulation structure of the steady and instantaneous mid-Pacific STH, and descent flow exists around ridge axis.
