In germination experiment, illumination had no effect on germination rate. Within certain range, rising temperature may accelerate germination rate of Lepidium apetalum, but had no effect on other species. The vermiculite of different soils also has great effect on seed germination.

方法］以中黄35为供试材料，采用不同的NAA浓度(0.01、0.10、1.00、10.00 mg/L)对黄豆种子进行萌发培养试验，培养7 d后分别测量黄豆种子的萌发率以及胚轴、胚根和胚芽的长度，比较不同浓度的NAA对黄豆种子萌发时的胚轴长、胚轴胚根比的影响。

The results of studying the effects of several plant growth regulating substances on pollen germination and tube growth in pear (Pyrus serotina Rhed.) by cultivating pollens in liquid media showed that GA3,TRIA,IAA and 2,4D stimulated pollen germination and tube growth when pollen was cultivated in their lower concentration media.

上述结果表明：高浓度的盐可以诱导海滨木槿种子休眠并促进盐胁迫解除后种子的萌发，这种机制可以使之避开不良的萌发条件，等到降雨使土壤溶液浓度降低再萌发，这是盐生植物的种子适应盐渍生境的一种有效方式；海滨木槿的种皮有阻挡Na~+进入胚的作用或胚具有某种拒Na~+的机制，使胚保持较高含量的K~+和较低的Na~+/K~+，这可能是海滨木槿种子耐盐的主要生理原因之一。

The strategies for adaptation of halophytes to saline and arid environments during seed germination stage:(1) high salinity and temperature induce seeds to remain dormancy. Compared with Haloxylon persicum, more viable ungerminated seeds of H. ammodendron and S. physophora submerged in 700 mmol.L-1 NaCl can germinate rapidly when environmental conditions are favorable.
