镜头从台湾转到缅甸，一年多前的纳吉斯风灾，慈济人踏上缅甸，协助灾民帮助他们重建，复原遭受水害的稻田，如今缅甸人民产生回馈的念头，得知莫拉克台风重创南台湾，当地志工不但在每周定期的读书会中，为台湾受灾乡亲祈福，也有读书会成员，把他们的竹筒捐给慈济，还有一家当地公司，全体员工捐了一千万缅币，将近1万美金给慈济，帮助水灾灾民。
