GMC has successively communicated in terms of academic affairs with Columbia University, U.K. Royal College of General Practitioners, San Francisco State University and Université de Bretagne Occidentale, etc. These dozens of years have seen that over 50 groups of overseas scholars, who totaled over 80 person-times, have been invited to Guangzhou Medical College for the purpose of academic communication. And a long-term academic communication and cooperation between Guangzhou Medical College and foreign as well as Hongkong famous neuroscience research centers, for instance Institute of Neurosciences and Gereology of California University, School of Medicines of Indiana University, Neuroscience Center of University of Memphis in Tennessee, School of Medicines of London University, Hongkong University, Hongkong Chinese University and Hongkong University of Science and Technology, etc., is bridged.

我院全面贯彻广州医学院第九次党代会精神，大力加强对外合作，积极开展对外交流，不断提高学院国际化水平，自2005年以来先后与美国加州大学、美国西北理工大学、英国皇家全科医学院、美国哥伦比亚大学、美国旧金山州立大学、法国西布列塔尼大学等高等院校或研究部门开展学术交流活动，建立了良好的合作关系；接待国外学者50余批、80多人次到所讲学和交流；与国外和香港有名的神经科学中心或学科（如美国加州大学神经科学与老年研究所、印地安那州大学医学院、田纳西州孟菲斯神经科学中心、英国伦敦大学医学院、香港大学、香港中文大学、香港科技大学等）建立了长期的学术交往与合作关系，增强信息交流，建立人才培训渠道。

At Sa?d Business School, Oxford, I tried to surround the academic core of the school withapplied research centres that could translate the core into practice and bring ideas from practice into the core.

Academic developments range from a substantial expansion in Medicine to new postgraduate courses in Governance and Sustainable Development, from the Centre for Cancer Research and Cell Biology to the Sonic Arts Research Centre, and from the Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry to novel approaches to "green technology".

Over the past decade, scholars in academic fields worked to explore KANG's works in the literature-oriented way instead of the dogma theory of the Soviet Union, and gained extraordinary achievements in positioning KANG's prose status in literature, in estimating aesthetic value of his poetry, in academic contention on three "Legendary Books", and in its effect on the construction and development of modern literary aesthetics theory, but question of simplicity and absoluteness still exist in analysis of the specific text.

近十年来，学术界在探讨康有为学术著作的过程中，打破了苏联的教条理论，回归文学本位，树立以作品为中心的研究格局。在康有为的散文文学定位、诗歌创作的审美价值、关于三大"奇书"的学术争鸣和对近代文艺美学理论的构建和拓展等方面，都取得了不凡的成果，但对具体文本的分析依然存在简单化和绝对化的问题。

From October 16th to 17th, 2006, lead by the subdecanal Hong Xiaowen, the five visitors from Microsoft Research Asia came to visit Nanjing University. On the afternoon of 16th, Doctor Ma Weiying's lecture "Face Recognition and Computer Vision Research at Microsoft Research Asia" was held in room 109 of the technology building in Nanjing University. The room was full of people at that point. On the afternoon of 17th, Doctor Ma Weiying's lecture "Web-scale Data Mining for Search" was held. At the same time, hosted by Gong Yongen, the schoolfellow of Nanjing University and software development engineer in searching technology center of MRA, the experience sharing meeting was held. They won the same nice echo.

2006年10月16日至17日，以洪小文副院长为首的微软亚洲研究院访问团一行5人访问南京大学。10月16日下午，汤晓鸥博士学术报告《Face Recognition and Computer Vision Research at Microsoft Research Asia》在南京大学科技楼109报告厅进行，现场座无虚席。10月17日下午，马维英博士学术讲座《Web-scale Data Mining for Search》以及南京大学校友、微软亚洲研究院搜索技术中心软件开发工程师龚永恩主持的校友经验分享会同时进行，同样取得了热烈的反响。

Then the difficult causations that customer use the literature of overseas Chinese are explored in Mainland China. Finally, two counterplots are advanced. First the signification that collecting and keeping the literature of overseas Chinese in the university library in mainland China should be popularized, such as special column may be instituted in International Academic Development journal.

并在探求其原因后提出了两条对策：其一，加强内地高校图书馆收藏海外华人文献意义的宣传，例如利用中华人民共和国教育部和华中科技大学主办的大型学术信息期刊《国际学术动态》进行宣传；其二，加强内地高校图书馆与海外的华人学术研究机构、华人文献研究中心的联系、交流与合作。

The Higher Education Center is administered by the Music Education Academic Commission, Music Theory Academic Commission, Choral and Conducting Academic Commission, Vocal Academic Commission, Piano Academic Commission, and Accordion and Electronic Organ Academic Commission.
