At 11:00 A.M. on December 21st Master Hsin Tao—himself an orphan whose parents hail from Yunnan—their addresses. At the same time, he announced the establishment of the Puren Scholarship, which willprovide USD 10,000 for the education of poor Burmese of Yunnanese descent. The VIPs in attendanceincluded the Chinese Ambassador to Burma Guan Mu, the director of the Yunnan Hall Yu Youhai, theYunnan Hall council members, representatives of the overseas Chinese community, and around 2,000 othersof Yunnanese descent from all parts of Burma. The joyful and grand event was well attended by people frommany different lands.

二十一日上午十一点，心道法师特别以云南边地孤雏子弟的身份，受邀莅临仰光缅甸云南会馆的落成典礼代表致词，心道法师并颁发「普仁奖助学金」一万美金做为缅甸云南贫穷子弟就学升学的基金，与会贵宾还有中国驻缅甸大使管木，云南会馆理事长虞有海，及众位理事代表、侨领会馆代表，及缅甸各地云南乡亲等共二千多人与会，场面温馨盛大，空气中洋溢著浓郁的客旅异乡情。
