The traction arm includes: a first supporting plate slidably connected to a beam of the bench; a second supporting plate pivotally connected to the first plate for the rotation of the base about a first axis that is substantially horizontal and substantiallty at right angles to the front plane of the first plate for appllying the base to the repair bench; a third supporting plate pivotally connected to the second plate for the rotation of the base about a second axis that is substantially at right angles to the first axis; and pivoting elements for the rotation of the base about a third axis that is substantially at right angles to the second axis.

It is found that the vertical velo city derived by the former is usually too weak while the later gets the distinct three dimensional convective structure of meso-scale system with strong vertical velocity.

In the quasi-static area, the field distribution is almost the same as the static field; in the high frequency section, many high order modes occur, but the field uniformity is relatively better, and the field distribution is mainly the vertical polarization field; in the out of the vertical polarization area, the effect of high order modes is very serious so that the field distribution lost the property of vertical polarization.

After comparing nonlinear simulation with linear, the results indicate that: Weak nonlinearity has definite and apparent influence on the distribution of acoustic fields and focused gain of array, which cause the distribution of waveform is closer to the array and the focused gain deteriorate ; the strong nonlinearity have a strong waveform aberration, because the other waves of non-fundamental frequency appear . No evident distinction is found in the effects between the oblique propagation and the vertical propagation, though less focused gain and influence caused by strong nonlinear produced by the acoustic diffraction which results in more attenuation in terms of oblique propagation.

So in order to improve ROP, the VTK vertical drilling technology of Baker Hughes was introduced. VTK is a kind of closed loop, automatic, and vertical drilling technology, made up of closedloop rotary steering drilling system AUTOTRAK, highperformance X-TREME motor and reliable MWD. It is able to return the well path back to vertical by adopting downhole microprocessors to analyze the measured deviation data and determine the proper force necessary for decreasing the deviation angle to guide the steering rib at the highside to reliably stick out against the upper wellbore.
