In this model soil was divided into two compartments: unsaturated consisted of three subcompartments: air, water, and soil solid, and saturated phase consisted of two subcompartments: water and soil solid.

在上述实验研究的基础上，结合农药污染地下水的研究在环境中的重要性，提出了一种包含地下水相在内的土壤多介质环境逸度模型，把土壤分为不饱和层相（由空气、水、土壤固体三个亚环境相组成）和地下蓄水层相，用来评价农药对地下水污染的情况。
