This dissertation is engaged in increasing the efficiency of the variable speed variable pitch WPGS. The technical and operation characteristics of the system are analyzed and the control schemes are researched in theory and simulation. And then, the emulation of WPGS in lab is also explored in order to verify the affectivity of the control scheme.
