Using in vivo intracellular recording technique, we studied the binocularity of the dorsal lateral geniculate nucleus neurons in the monocular eyelid sutured cats. We found that almost all the neurons responded to the flashing spots to the nondominant eyes, and there was no significant difference of the response properties between the neurons in the deprived and non-deprived layers.

采用在位胞内记录技术，研究了单眼视觉剥夺猫外膝体神经元的双眼反应特性，结果发现单眼剥夺猫外膝体几乎所有的双眼反应神经元都对非优势眼的闪烁光斑刺激有不同程度的反应，并且剥夺层和非剥夺层神经元在反应特性上没有明显差异。

In this thesis, we developed chiral proton N-O type ligands and employed them in the enantioselective addition of diethylzinc to N-diphenylphosphinoyl imines. The relationship between the structure of the ligands and the enantioselectivity was systematically studied. Furthermore, enantioselective butylation of N-diphenylphosphinoyl imines withBu〓Zn and enantioselective diphenylzinc addition to imine were also examined.

In the thesis, a series of novel single and multi-armed oxadiazole bridging ligands and pyridyl-4, 5-imidazole dicarboxylic acid ligands have been synthesized. The coordination chemistry of these novel ligands with transition metal ions was investigated. In addition, two 1, 3, 4-oxadiazole bridging ligands end-capped by chelating Schiff-base coordination sites have been designed and synthesized. The coordination chemistry based on one of the two ligands with metal ions was primarily investigated.

The characteristics of on-off responses of medial geniculate body neurons to tone bursts of varying frequency, intensity and duration were affected by lateral amygdaloid nucleus stimulation, which was in form of altering the pattern of discharge or complete suppression. The effect also varied with the changes of the interval between amygdaloid stimulation and the tone bursts. The results of the present work show that LAm could modulate temporal processing of auditory information.

新西兰兔内膝体神经元的on-off反应与纯音刺激的强度、频率及作用时程有关；刺激边缘系统杏仁外侧核，可以抑制on-off反应，或是使on-off反应放电构型发生变化。on-off反应是神经元对声音信号作用时程及声音的起止进行编码的方式之一，LAm对on-off反应的影响表明，边缘系统杏仁体的活动可以调控听觉中枢对声音时间信息的编码。

Furthermore, the effects of ligands, metal and reaction time on the reaction were also researched, and the process of new ligand-metal catalysis for Diels-Alder reaction was also analyzed according to Evans" square planar mode and Corey"s tetrahedral manner.
