By means of the undetermined coefficient method ,which is submitted in reference for solving nonlinear wave equations for their peaked soliton solutions ,three kinds of peaked soliton solutions are obtained for two important nonlinear wave equations— Korteweg-de Vries equation and Benjamin-Bona-Mahonyequation,respectively.
