In the second part, quantum chemical AM1 methods were employedto theoretically investigate the electronic structures of maleic anhydride in ground- and excited-states. On basis of the frontier orbital theoryand three bonding principles, the possibility of reaction of active α-hydroxysuccinic anhydride carbanion and active α-hydroxy-succinic anhydride radical on polymerization process of MArespectively by alkali catalyst and by hydroxyl radical was discussed. Theanionic and radical polymerization of MA discussed also. Theoreticalstudies show that both polymerization products of MA are in the chainstructures, corresponding to the experimental findings.

To investigate the effects of PG and AG on livers that were injured by tetrachloride, we treamed small mice and fed them with different medicines, The conclusion is that AG and PG could scavenge free radical and protect mice livers from injuring by tetrachloride, AG was more effective than PG. 4. 3 The results of experiment for scavenging free radical of alkyl gallate in vitro showed that alkyl gallates can effectively scavenging free radical, but the parent gallic acid showed little effect. This suggested that introducing of hydrophobic group could significantly improve the anti-oxidative ability of gallic acid derivatives at large extent.

But nowadays there was not some study on ALR in rat testis. Here to confirm the expression and localization of ALR in infancy,adult and old rat testis,comparing the change of ALR expression degree before per 70 PH and after per 70 PH. In order to evaluate expression principle of ALR in rat testis and know if ALR has tight connection with spermatogenesis and development of testis, to explore the relation between ALR and reproduction, to discover the possible expression character and functional methods of ALR.

Results 2 ClAdo and 2 CldAdo had different cytotoxicities on the cells, while 2' dAdo had no cytotoxicity on the cells. 2 CldAdo blocked the cell growth at the phase of S and G2/M, while 2 ClAdo at the phase of G0/G1. 2 CldAdo mainly induced cell necrosis, while 2 ClAdo induced both cell necrosis and apoptosis. Down regulated Bcl 2 expression and up regulated p53 and Bax expression were associated with 2 ClAdo, while 2 CldAdo down regulated Bcl 2 expression and up regulated mildly p53 expression without any effect on Bax expression.

The positive expression both of p14ARF and mtp53 protein in NSCLC tissues were significantly different from that in nonmal lung tissues and tissues adjacent to the cancer (P.01).The expression of p14ARF protein was correlated with pathological degree(P<0.01),but it was uncorrelated with pathological staging,lymphaden metabasis and vessel invasion(P>0.05).The expression of mtp53 protein was correlated with clinical pathology staging,pathological degree and vessel invasion(P<0.05 or P<0.01),but it was uncorrelated with lymphaden metabasis(P>0.05).(2) The coexpression of p14ARF and mtp53 was 36.7%,their consistency was 38.8%,but the expression of p14ARF protein were negatively correlated with the expression of mtp53 protein(r=-0.3553,P<0.001).Conclusion The results suggest that the decrease of p14ARF and the increase of mtp53 protein may play an important role in the genesis and development of NSCLC.
