Article 20 After the installment, reform or maintenance of boilers, pressure vessels, elevators, cranes, passenger cableways, or large entertainment facilities is completed, the entity undertaking the installment, reform or maintenance shall, within 30 days after the examination and acceptance, hand over the relevant technical materials to the entity using the equipment.

Article 39 The operation personnel and the relevant management personnel of boilers, pressure vessels, elevators, cranes, passenger cableways and large entertainment facilities (hereinafter referred to as operation personnel) shall, pursuant to the relevant provisions of the state, pass the assessment by the department of safety supervision and obtain the certificate of special operation personnel in state unified format before they can undertake the corresponding operations or management.

第三十九条锅炉、压力容器、电梯、起重机械、客运索道、大型游乐设施的作业人员及其相关管理人员（以下统称特种设备作业人员），应当按照国家有关规定经特种设备安全监督管理部门考核合格，取得国家统一格式的特种作业人员证书，方可从事相应的作业或者管理工作。

Article 2 Special equipment as used in these Regulations refer to the boilers, pressure vessels (including gas cylinders, hereinafter the same), pressure pipelines, elevators, cranes, passenger cableways, and large entertainment facilities that involve the safety of life and that have relatively high risks.
