Validating the range-synthesis model of time memory, in the research on retrospective time memory, in experiment 1, we selected 14 recognizable news events from 1995 to 2000,in experiment 2, fifteen film episodes and eight news segments were broadcasted aperiodically to examine the retrospective time memory;results showed that, the range-synthesis model of time had predictive validity to retrospective time memory.
