Methods: The sample consisted143 children which were in early permanent dentition of ClassⅡ,Division 1malocclusion .Pre-and post-treatment study models were assessed using PeerAssessment Rating index. According to the outcome of treatment, thesecases were classified into three types as "worse, no different","improved"and"greatly improved". The cephalometric analysis and Model Analysis werepreformed with pretreatment lateral cephalograms and study models for"improved"and "greatly improved"cases."T"–test was assessed to find out thesignificant difference between the extraction and nonextraction, and the resultsincluding age factor were analyzed by stepwise discriminant analysis.

Genus and 40 species of Jurassic Pteriomorphia and Isofilibranchia from Northern Tibet were described in present paper. The data of genus and species of Jurassic Pteriomorphia and Isofilibranchia from Northern Tibet, Southern Tibet, and India were studied with cluster analysis respectively. The Jurassic palaeobiogeographic and palaeogeographic relations of these three regions were also discussed on the basis of the result of cluster analysis and analysis of the controlling factors of bivalve distribution.

It utilized factor analysis and regression analysis ofthe multi-statistics to make the quantitative analysis on a great deal of core proxies in the North Indian Ocean and Indonesian Archipelago areas, and acquiredthe exact conversion relations of paleoceanic environment parameters (sea surface temperatureand salinity) and proxies. Then it made the change curve which can show the changes of paleo-ceanic environment parameters (sea surface temperature and salinity) which followed the changesof depth and provided the contrast between paleoceanic environment parameters of different coreson the landscape orientation. This paper supplied a more scientific and exact method for resumingthe paleoceanic environment on paleoceanography research.

With the seeds from nine natural Cyclocarya paliurus populations as test materials, their phenotypic traits, including 1000-seed weight, seed size, seed diameter, seed thickness, and seed diameter/thickness ratio, were investigated, and the phenotypic diversity among and within the populations were studied by the methods of ANOVA analysis, hierarchical cluster analysis, and correlation analysis.
