Results: The normal epithelial cells were intactly lined with microvilli, and lesions on the surface of Ct infected cells were showed by SEM. The expression of actin was obvious throughout the cytoplasm of uterine epithelial cells but appeared to be most intense along the apical plasma membrane on day 4, 5 and 6 of pregnancy. On the day 7, levels of actin had increased along the apical surface. The expression of actin in the infected group was weaker than that in of the normal group.

The results showed:(1) MP polymerase chain reaction test showed positive results in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid from all of the MP-infected rats (infectious group, n=4), while they were all negative in BALF from the control group (n=4,P＜0.05) and from those rats both infected with MP and, at the same time, treated with erythromycin (treating group n=4,P＜0.05). Bacterial cultures of the bronchial and lung tissue were negative in all three groups. Using transmission electron microscope the widened interalveolar septa with increased amount of collagen were found in the infectious group, while there were no obvious abnormalities in the other two groups.

The other 40 specimens contained multiple HPV types comprising 16 different HPV types. Although double infections(n=25) prevailed, triple(n=9),quadruple(n=3) and quintuple(n=3) infections were also found. PCR products of four HPV positive cases failed to be classified by LiPA. Sequencing analysis revealed that these 4 cases were HPV-66 which was not included in LiPA probes. Follow-up data of 12 cases confirmed the HPV genotyping results. Conclusion The LiPA for HPV genotyping is easy to perform.

About 50%of detected Solanum melongena samples had ToMV both in Zhejiang and Shanxi provinces.However,there was a significant difference between tomato samples from Zhejiang and Shanxi provinces.In Zhejiang province, only about 10%of samples were infected by ToMV, while the numbers of infected samples were above 60%in Shanxi.
