In the paper,a fast image retrieval method based on the DCT domain and correlative feedback is presented,which aims at JPEG images and uses color layout descriptors in the MPEG7 standard. As the method only needs entropy decoding,the speed of extracting image features is improved and storage space saved. The experiment result shows that the method has a high retrieval speed and a good effect.
