This papers is divided into six chapters and seeks to combine heritage buildings and the concept of modern information. The author make a preliminary analysis and research about historical information constitution of heritage buildings. On this basis, we strive to present a new vision to examine and discuss about the conservation of heritage buildings. Throughout the course of the study and exposition, we make Chinese ancient buildings of timbered structure as its main target, and combine with many examples about ancient buildings of timbered structure in Shanxi Province.
