Long time ago in Bethlehem, so the Holy Bible says 很久以前，在伯利恒，所以圣经说：

Mary's boy child Jesus Christ was born on Christmas Day 玛丽的男孩孩子耶稣基督诞生的圣诞节

 

Hark, now hear the angels sing a new king born today 听，现在听天使在唱歌今天出生的新王

And man will live for evermore because of Christmas Day 和人能活，因为圣诞节永

   

While shepherds watch their flocks by night 虽然牧羊人看着自己的羊群夜间

They saw a bright new shining star 他们看到了一个崭新的闪亮之星

And heard a chior from heaven sing 并听见从天上有chior唱

The music came from afar 音乐从远方来

   

Hark, now hear the angels sing a new king born today 听，现在听天使在唱歌今天出生的新王

And man will live for evermore because of Christmas Day 和人能活，因为圣诞节永

   

Now Joseph and his wife, Mary 约瑟和他的妻子，玛丽

Came to Bethlehem that night 来到伯利恒，当晚

They found no place to bear her child 他们发现没有地方来承担她的孩子

Not a single room was in sight 没有一个房间是在望

   

Hark, now hear the angels sing a new king born today 听，现在听天使在唱歌今天出生的新王

And man will live for evermore because of Christmas Day 和人能活，因为圣诞节永

 

By and by they found a nook in a stable all forlorn 渐渐地，他们发现了一个角落在一个稳定的所有渺茫

And in a manger cold and dark, Mary's little child was born 而在马槽里又冷又黑，玛丽的小孩出生

   

Trumpets sound and angels sing 号角声天使在唱歌

Listen to what they say 听他们说什么

That man will live for evermore because of Christmas Day 那人会活的，因为圣诞节永

Hark, now hear the angels sing a new king born today 听，现在听天使在唱歌今天出生的新王

And man will live for evermore because of Christmas Day 和人能活，因为圣诞节永

And man will live for evermore because of Christmas Day. 和人能活，因为圣诞节直到永远。
