In this paper, we analyzed the larch extract tannin, aminom ethylation of larch extract tannin, quaternization of cationic larch extract tannin and amphoteric larch extract tannin (sulfonation of the larch extract tannin quaternary ammonium) by infrared spectral analysis, confirmed the quarternization and sulfonate groups, and measured its water treatment properties such as flocculation, scale inhibition, results showed that quaternization of larch extract tannin and amphoteric larch extract tannin have better water treatment ability, can realize the multifunction.
