来临

将临期是基督教会的重要节期,(拉丁文: Adventus;英文:Advent) 就是来临(coming),是带着行动的意思;有接近(approaching)之意. 将临期为四周,象征基督降临前四千年的黑暗,所使用的花环或蜡烛是象征基督真光照耀那「坐在黑暗中死荫里的人」(路1:79).
