认错道歉

Eat one's words不是"食言"（go back on one's word / break a promise）,是"认错;道歉"（to admit that they were wrong about something they said）.

另外还有一种情况叫false friend或false cognate，是指两种语言中形式相同或非常相似，但意义不同的词。
