This paper compares the circular locus method,modified Martindale method,pilling box method and random rolling method in the GB/T 4802-2008 Textiles - Determination of fabric propensity for fuzzing and pilling. Based on the comparison of two standards which containing multi-conditions,analyses the rationality of the factors、the scientificity of the test method in the Product Standards and the influence of the Standards change. In the end, brings up some suggestions.

It is found that the whiteness, woolliness and the strength loss with enzyme was superior to those treated with traditional sodium silicate process. Adding urea in OBEOP can help to improve the fabric whiteness, woolliness and reduce the strength loss.
