The content of kaolinite varies in the range of 80%to 95%.Two occurrences of kaolinite are rev ealed:one is in the form of aggregate of vermiform crystals;another is in the form of cryptocrystalline or colloidal materials.Its crystallization index is calculated to be 0.54～0.74a nd 0.47～0.53,indicating its higher degree o f order.Chemical analyses show that the compositions of kaolinite are close to its theoretical values.

TEM shows that drying by direct heating might result in hard aggregation of the tourmaline powder, while hard aggregation might be avoided by azeotropic distillation. Raman spectroscopy reveals that there are O_H and C_H on the surfaces of the tourmaline powder obtained by azeotropic distillation, which indicates that butoxy is chemically adsorbed on the surfaces of tourmaline particles, but not adsorbed on those formed by direct drying. X_ray powder diffraction shows that the intensity of diffraction peaks decreases after grinding. There is no damage to the tourmaline crystal lattice in the process of direct heating, azeotropic distillation, or ultrafine grinding.

The 43-57km lithospheric mantle could be consist of a suite of cumulates with crystalloblastic texture, cumulate texture and relic magmatic crystalline textures, such as orthopyroxenite, websterite, clinopyroxenite and olivine-pyroxenite. The lithospheric mantle of 43km to Moho discontinuity could be spinel harzbergite and minor spinel lherzolite, in which the spinel harzbergite and minor spinel lherzolite xenoliths are discoveried. The Moho in the region could be an transitional zone composed of cumulates in petrology.

The feldspars of topaz-lepidolite granite in Yashan late stage are P-rich albite and Kfeldspar, and the phosphorus goes into feldspar structure in the form of PAlSi〓 substitution. The phosphorus contents of feldspars vary according to their crystal habitus. In general, the feldspars of later generation have the higher average phosphorus content than that of earlier generation, and the albite contains higher phosphorus than the K-feldspar in the same generation. The zircon is highly rich in Hf, U, P and Al. The phosphorus enters the zircon structure mainly by the form of〓P〓〓Si〓, Al〓P〓Si〓 or P〓Al〓Si〓, Zr〓 substitution. The P-rich zircon is the production of the highly evolved magma, and it might be one of the important characteristic minerals of the high-P subtype granite. The manganocolumbite, manganotantalite, wodginite and titanowodginite are the main niobium and tantalum minerals.
