Taking the ring intersection at Bell Tower of Xi′an as an example,optimized signal timing scheme is proposed with the help of traffic simulation software VISSIM,and then the scheme is evaluated. The results of analysis indicate the scheme can reduce the vehicle delay and improve the traffic capacity of the ring intersection effectively,which validate that applying microcosmic simulation software VISSIM in signal timing of ring intersection is feasible.

以西安市钟楼环形交叉口为例，借助VISSM交通仿真软件，寻求其优化配时方案，并对方案进行评价，分析结果表明该配时方案能有效地减少车辆延误，提高环形交叉口的通行能力，验证了VISSIM微观仿真软件应用于环形交叉口信号配时的可行性。

The characteristics of bicycle flow are analyzed based on observational data. The results show that the density of the queued bikes decreases lineally as does the width of the bike lanes. The relationship is based on scientific methodology applicable for calculating bicycle traffic capacity at signaled intersections.
