Mr. Li Tsan-chien, the winner of 2004 Master's Thesis, presented his paper "Disintegration of the cells of Siphonous green alga Codium edule under mild heat stress" in this year's Exhibition. The paper verifies that 35℃ seawater temperature is one of the reasons causing mass reduction of edible codiaceae in Kenting waters. Currently, the author is working on a further study. His enthusiasm and perseverance to stick to the research is admired.
