The stress and stability analysis of arch dam and abutment are the main task of traditional arch dam design. Nowadays there are two kinds of analysis method to use. One method is the arch-cantilever load-distribution method, in which the arch dam stress and abutment thrust are calculated, while the stability of abutment is evaluated by rigid body method or other method. The other is FEM method, which evaluates the arch dam stress and stability of abutment at the same time.

Then, four design methods were compared and appraised. Based on the above study, a new asphalt-stabilized macadam base mixture gradation design method-five control sieve design method was put forward.

There are two modeling methods used in this research area, that is analytical method and numerical method. An iterative algorithm based on MRP is used to get the saliency scores of sentences. The evaluation shows that the iterative algorithm converges rapidly. Compared with the traditional summarizing method and MS Word Summarizer, the sentence weighting method based on MRP can improve the summarizing performance.

In this paper, we introduced the HNC (Hierarchical Network of Concepts) theory into the Subjective-Question-Autoassess-System. Using its knowledge expression method and sentence category analyzing method to analyze the semantemes of Chinese sentences automatically. Then, we designed the according algorithms based on HNC theory. Finally, we developped the Subjective-Question-Autoassess system. The auto-assess result was pretty good.
