On the basis of analyzing regional structure and evolution characteristics, It is considered that undergoing 3 evolutions of Eocene-Oligocene, Miocene and Pliocene exploration, Burma central basin Formed in Tertiary and can be divided into 2 secondary grade structural units, i.e. western deep depression and eastern shallow depression, and 11 third grade structural units, such as Irrawaddy sag, Prome sag, Salin sag, Chindwin sag, Hukawng sag, Putao sag, Shwebo sag, Inlelake sag, Salween sag, Sittang sag and Pegu upwarping.

Seven thirdorder seismic sequences can be recognized from bottom to top in the Paleogene in the Wushi sag, which consist of a depositional sequence from transgression to regression as a whole and correspond to different stages of structural evolution. Sequences developed in different stages of structural evolution are different in filling sequence and distribution of sedimentary system. Multiphase structural evolutions result in development of source rocks and reservoir and cap rocks in various parts of the sag. The sequence 2-4 deposited in strong chasmic stage have the best source rocks and sealing conditions as well as various favorable reservoirs, thus are the most favorable targets for obtaining discoveries in this sag.

结果认为：乌石凹陷古近系从下至上可以划分为7个三级地震层序，整体上为一个水进到水退的序列，分别对应不同的构造演化阶段；不同构造演化阶段发育的层序具有不同的充填序列和沉积体系分布；构造演化的多期性使得该凹陷多个部位都有烃源岩和储、盖层发育；其中以强烈裂陷阶段沉积的层序2-层序4中发育的烃源岩和盖层条件为最好且发育多种有利储集体，是该凹陷寻找油气藏的最有利层段。

The first type is E s 1 and E f 3 member oil, which is derived from E f 2 member source rock of deep sag. The second type is E f 1 member oil which is derived from E f 1 member source rock of deep sag. Integrated with the analysis of pyrrolic nitrogen compounds and its parameters, Beihanzhuang E f 3,/E f 1 and E s 1 member oil migrated from deep sag to Beihanzhuang structure belt apparently.

To the question of unclear base structure framework, the disputed geological horizon and the region deposition system, and under cognition of the distribution of flysch, hydrocarbon reservoir-forming mode of the central uplift belt and south ramp region in the sag, this thesis expatiates the Peleogene structure and the deposition evolution characteristics of the Hhuiming sag, based on the theory of structural geology, sedimentology, petroleum geology, synthetically using the data of geology, geophysics and test analysis, and analyses hydrocarbon reservoir formation mode and its control factor, connect with the petroleum geology achievement. It gives a scientific reference to enhance the exploration effective in the research area.

Tectonic subsidence play dominant role in their geometric shapes, basin fillings, sequence evolution and sediment distribution in the Wushi Sag. Outline of the sequences are in shape of box-wedge or sheet-wedge and boundaries of sequences are varied from bilateral fault to monoclinal fault overlap, so that the sequences show distinct semigrabens which overlay in different ways. Seven sequences were formed in different stage of tectonic evolution. The sequence of SQ1 formed in initial rift stage and deposited alluvial sequence. Sequences SQ2-SQ4 developed in intense rift stage and sediment lacustrine sequence. Sequences SQ5-SQ7 formed in late period of rift before thermal subsidence and deposit mere and delta sediment. The place adjacent to the synsedimentary fault is the subsidence center and depocenter; meanwhile, controlling fracture migrates in horizontal made subsidence and sedimentary center of the sag changed.

构造沉降是控制层序几何形态，充填叠置方式、演化及沉积体系分布的最重要因素：凹陷由多个半地堑在不同层序发育时期以不同方式叠置联结而成；受断层控制，层序外部形态有箱状-楔形、楔形-席状披覆型，边界终止方式有双断终止型、单断终止超覆型；不同构造演化阶段层序内部充填的沉积体系各具特征，初始断陷阶段的SQ1沉积冲积层序，强烈断陷阶段的SQ2-SQ4充填湖相层序，晚期断陷阶段SQ5-SQ7内部充填浅湖和河流三角洲沉积；同沉积断层陡坡带沉降迅速、可容纳空间快速增长，是凹陷的沉积和沉降中心，断陷期主控断裂活动时间和空间的变化导致了凹陷沉积和沉降中心的迁移。
