The main objective of this research project is to modify the Methyl-Acetylene/propadiene selective hydrogenation reaction system of the No.3 Naphtha Cracker in CPC. The original gas phase reaction system was redesigned to a liquid phase reaction so that higher propylene selectivity was achieved and lower rates of propane and green oil were produced. To recover effectively the higher production of valuable propylene from the reaction system, the following fractionator was also redesigned.

The 352 valid samples were analyzed by SPSS. The results showed there was no distinct corresponding relationship between the product attributes and reaction time. The different key attributes from questionnaire importance rating and the shortest reaction time standards were used to regressively analyze the results of customers' overall rating (such as overall satisfaction,objective quality, recommend intention).The results indicated that the coefficiency of regression of the special attributes chosen from reaction time to overall rating was distinct, while the coefficiency of the special attributes chosen from importance rating to overall rating was not. The main conclusions are: 1. Regarded attributes can be obtained by the reaction time of brand performance rating.

A new fullerene derivative containing energy-producing groups was prepared, and the reaction conditions affecting the yield were studied by the kroenecker method. The optimal reaction conditions with a 53.5% yield (based on consumed C60) are: 1:3:6 of molar ratio of C60 , o–nitrobenzaldehyde and sarcosine , 55℃ of reaction temperature, 12 h of reaction time, 40mL of toluene solvent.

The experiments for determining the reaction kinetics of Daqing atmospheric residue were performed in a continuous flow, expanded bed rector. Four-lumped reaction kinetic model was developed to account for various feed and product fractions of Daqing atmospheric residue (gases, gas oil, residue and coke). The amounts of olefins and alkyls in the gas products were further analyzed to determine reaction kinetics of gas product distributions. Hence, a combined five-lumped reaction kinetic model was obtained for catalytic pyrolysis of Daqing atmospheric residue. The kinetic constants both in four-lump model and five-lump model were evaluated. A simulator for catalytic pyrolysis process was developed by incorporating the five-lumped kinetic model into the hydrodynamic flow model.
