Result shows that the Apriona germari adult insect prefer to eat Broussonetia papyrfera and reject to eat other tree species which result in difference in natural life and fecundity. Difference of dissolvable sugar and amino acid may be the reason of preference while difference of dissolvable phenolics and tannin content may explain the rejection.
