In this paper, the flame retardation of Amatol, TNT, explosive B, RDX, HMX and plastic bonding explosives manufactured from them are discussed. Several explosives with satisfied flame retardancy and explosion performances were obtained for the first time. Alloy bath method, improved hot wire test and flame test are employed to evaluate fire retardancy of fire retarded explosives.
