In this paper the dimension parameters which influence the electrical properties of the biconical antenna is discussed by means of simulation and experimental test. And a biconical omni-directional antenna array operating within 0.8~3GHz is designed. Its design parameters and the results of the simulation including curves of the VSWR, radiation pattern and the gain within the band are also given.
