A comprehensive survey of minerals in pollen of nectariferous plants was performed in this study.The contents of 14 mineral elements such as Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn and Se etc. in the pollen of 14 kinds of nectariferous plants: Cucumis melo L., Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn, Citrus sinensis Osbesk, Prunus armeniaca L., Rosa xanthina Lindi., etc, were detected for the first time by atomic absorption spectrophotometry, ultraviolet spectrophotometry and fluorescence spectrophotometry.
