I met a girl on halloween 我认识了一个女孩在万圣节

well she was lost and I was drunk 同时，她迷路了我醉了

and it was dark and cold out when we left 它是黑暗和寒冷，当我们离开

and as we walked the rain started 当我们走在雨中开始

the leaves I've felt 我觉得叶

with every step and all around around us 每一步，都围绕在我们身边

I wondered how far leaves could really fly 我不知道多远，叶子真的可以飞

would they rest in several yards 他们会休息几码

or make it to the city 或使城市

or would they end up in the river just to float away 或者他们最终会在河里刚漂走

   

she pointed to a small brick house 她指着一个小砖房

and said it was where she grew up 并说这是她长大

the lights were out 灯光外出

she asked if we could stop for a while 她问我们是否可以停一停

her hair was still just getting wet 她的头发还只是弄湿

apparently there had been a death 显然曾有过死亡

someone close had nothing left 身边的人已经所剩无几

because she hadn't left him in the end 因为她没有离开他到底

   

I saw her blush when I asked 我看见她脸红，当我问

she said it only happened when she drank 她说，当她喝了，只发生过

and later on I felt her hand slipping into my cold fist 而后来我觉得她的手滑入我冰冷的拳头

she promised me a kiss as soon as we got home 她立即答应给我一个吻，我们到家

her costume had begun to tear 她的服装已经开始撕裂

she ran ahead and turned to me 她在前面跑，转身对我
